The purpose of this paper is to present a brief overview of juvenile delinquency, primarily in the United States, with comments on how juvenile delinquency is defined, a discussion on the character of delinquency, and finally, a theoretical statement explaining delinquency. He is also at risk of increased physical aggressiveness, poor self-esteem, anxiety, feelings of guilt, and of not marrying. Drug use, delinquency, and other problem behaviors among Latino youth are influenced by socialization experiences and the experiences of their families in their new environments. The motivating idea was that children had special needs, and that to treat them like adults violated American ideals of fairness. Although the road to a chronic criminal career is highly complex and defies simple explanations, the studies agree on the following points.
